Same-day does not mean walk-in. The clinic must review the requested procedure, preparation status, medical history and schedule before confirming the visit.
- State whether you need upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy or both.
- Share relevant medicines, medical conditions and prior procedure issues.
- Confirm escort and transportation requirements if sedation is planned.
The plan may change
Safety and examination quality take priority. The procedure may need to be rescheduled if preparation is incomplete or if a medical review identifies a reason to adjust the plan.
